I hope ya'll had a FABULOUS Thanksgiving and weekend! Josh's bro and sis-in-law (and bambino) came to spend Thanksgiving with us and we were super excited! Considering I didn't think about the Thanksgiving menu until practically Wednesday night, (procrastinator party of 1) I think our dinner came out fantastic!
Everything turned out great, and we had a yummy first Thanksgiving "in charge".

Saturday we decided to hop on the train and head to Chicago to do some holiday exploring. Unfortunately it was a HOT mess outside, but we all soldiered on and had a great time nonetheless.
Can I just say how amazing Chicago is with all of the Christmas lights and holiday decor? It's such an awesome feeling, and J and I will definitely be down there at least 10 more times before Christmas is over!
i would love to go to Chicago at Christmas...i love all the decor & lights! i would also love to see NYC at Christmas too!

ReplyDeleteI've only been to Chicago once and it was during the fall - so beautiful then! I'd love to see it with Christmas lights but the weather makes me super nervous!
